Discussion:
[Ispman-users] Which version to use for production?

Hello all,

I've been looking at ISPMan as a tool to manage several severs using LDAP, to share the same
authentication information as well as give users a means to set up their own vhosts/dns/email etc
using the CCP.

I have seen that ISPMan 1.3 is still under development and have been wondering what the last
stable / production version is? Should I use ISPMan 1.2 out of the box and do a "CVS update" (is
that stable?), or should I just use the 1.2 release as it is? I'm reluctant to try 1.3 because I
need the CCP and have read in another thread that it is currently broken.

Thanks,
Johannes

1.3 is very stable. I am using it when it went out. No problems.

Which release is that? rc2? Or have you done a CVS update?

I've read this mailinglist post in the archives:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=2101.62.194.18.7.1155155570.squirrel%40wmail.websystems.nl&forum_name=ispman-users

... where Pedro Algarvio states that the CCP is seriously broken and unmaintained. Does it work
for you?

I've also noticed that you've tried the new CCP by Pedro. Just out of curiosity, or is the old one
indeed broken?

Thanks for your reply,
Johannes

1.3 is very stable. I am using it when it went out. No problems.

I've also noticed that you've tried the new CCP by Pedro. Just out of
